Korea University announces “cancellation of motherland daughter’s admission”

“Notify the person after the deliberation decision at the end of February”
曺’s side “filed in the invalidation court”

Korea University announced on the 7th that it had already canceled college admissions for the 31-year-old Cho Min, the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kuk, at the end of February.

Korea University issued a press release on the same day, saying, “(January this year) secured the Supreme Court’s ruling and received the ‘School Life Record’ (from Mr. Cho) submitted to the university for the entrance examination for the 2010 academic year. We have confirmed that the contents that we judged to be not true are recorded (in the school record book),” he said. He added, “According to the Higher Education Act and Korea University’s admission guidelines, on February 22, 2022, we have decided to cancel the admission.”

The school added that the approval of the cancellation of admission was completed on February 25 and notified Mr. Cho on the 28th, and added that the receipt was confirmed on March 2.

Korea University’s decision follows the Supreme Court’s judgment in January of this year that the four specifications Cho used while taking the Korea University admissions test in 2010 were false, including an intern at Dankook University’s Medical Science Research Center and an intern at Seoul National University’s Public Interest and Human Rights Law Center. Prior to this, on the 5th, Pusan National University canceled Cho’s admission to medical school. Former Minister Cho announced on the same day that “a lawsuit has been filed with the Seoul Northern District Court to confirm the nullity of the cancellation of admission to Korea University.”
