Korean Director Celine Song Visits Korea for ‘Fast Lives’ Press Events

CJ ENM, which is responsible for distributing the film, announced on the 13th that Director Song would visit Korea and attend a press conference, interview, and audience discussion (GV) on the 28th and 29th. Lead actor Teo Yoo will also accompany the event.

Director Song is the daughter of director Song Neung-han, who directed the film ‘Number 3’ (1997). She was born in Korea and lived there until elementary school, moving to Canada with her family at the age of 12. The film was made based on the experiences of director Song. It depicts what happens when Na-young (Greta Lee), who lives in New York, and Hae-seong (Teo Yoo), her first love when she was twelve, meet in New York.

The film has been nominated for Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay at the 96th Academy Awards, which will be held on the 10th of next month (local time), and also won the Best New Director Award. at the 76th Directors Guild of America (DGA). Awards on the 10th (local time). Director Celine Song is the first Korean to win a DGA award. It will be released in Korea on the 6th of next month.
