Doha: Kovid restrictions again in Qatar. The restrictions will take effect on Friday. Masks are mandatory not only in closed public places but also in open public places from Friday. But those who do sports training in public places do not have to wear masks. If exhibitions, events and conferences are held in open public places, only 75 per cent are allowed to enter. The move comes against the backdrop of rising Kovid cases in Qatar.

In closed spaces, only 50% operational capacity is allowed. It is recommended that 90% of the participants should have completed the Kovid vaccination. PCR or rapid antigen testing is mandatory for both non-vaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals. All events, conferences and exhibitions can be held only with the permission of the Ministry of Public Health.
