Krishnamachari Srikkanth’s Recommendations for India’s Test Team Against South Africa.

India-South Africa India will face South Africa tomorrow in the final match of the Two Test series. Former India player Krishnamachari Srikanth has spoken about the changes to be made in the Indian team ahead of the exciting match.

Srikanth said that spinner R. Ashwin should be included in the starting eleven instead of Indian pacer Shardul Thakur.

“I will pick Ashwin more than Thakur in the second Test. Ashwin is a good player so Ashwin will be a good replacement for Thakur. Ashwin-Jadeja can form a good combination in the match and if they combine they can take around four to five wickets in the match. Ashwin will definitely retain his role in the team,” Srikanth said on his YouTube channel.

The former Indian player also shared that spinners should be prioritized if they want to demolish the South African batsmen in the second Test.

“If the Indian team wants to face the South African batsmen, the spinners should get better chances. So I will avoid Shardul Thakur. It is unfair to exclude Prasid Krishna now because he has played only one Test match. It is not right to ban the star in his first matches,” Srikanth added.

Meanwhile, India lost to South Africa in the first match. So Av, Rohit and the team try to make a comeback by winning the second test. The final match will be played in Cape Town on January 3.
