A total of 19 deportees hailing from various Asian countries, including both men and women, were apprehended during the crackdown. The thorough search conducted by officers resulted in the confiscation of numerous smartphones and other devices that were instrumental in promoting prostitution. All seized items, along with the accused individuals, have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.

Influx of Lawbreakers in Kuwait Sparks Vigorous Investigations

Underlining the determination to maintain law and order, ongoing investigations in Kuwait have led to the recent arrest of 104 individuals found guilty of violating residency and employment laws. These arrests were conducted during meticulous inspections carried out by the General Ministry of Residence Affairs Investigations, responsible for overseeing Farwaniya, Al Ahmadi, and Capital districts.

The General Administration of Security and Media Relations revealed that two individuals were apprehended for breaking the residence law during hotel inspection campaigns. Additionally, the Search and Investigation Department successfully caught an Asian national involved in the illicit sale of local liquor in the Abu Halifa area. The individual was found in possession of 70 bottles of locally-produced drinks, and all those arrested during these operations have been referred to the relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.

Fraudulent Certification: Female Doctor Dismissed and Fined

Kuwait City – In a significant development, a female doctor employed by the Ministry of Health has been dismissed and slapped with a hefty fine of 300,000 Kuwaiti dinars for falsifying a university certificate in Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti doctor in question stands accused of fabricating a university certificate, subsequently working as a medical professional for six years while undeservedly receiving a salary. The public prosecutor charged her with illegally obtaining public funds by submitting false documentation to the Civil Service Commission (CSC), ultimately pocketing an estimated 150,000 Kuwaiti dinars in salary based on this fraudulent certificate.
