Kuwait excludes foreigners from government service

Kuwait City : Kuwait completely eliminates foreign workers from the government sector. More than 2,000 foreign workers have reportedly been laid off in the past five months. As the repatriation process intensified, 2,089 foreigners were expelled from the government sector. At the same time, 10780 natives got jobs during this period.

The number of foreigners working in the government sector fell to 69,511 on August 17. The number of Indigenous employees increased from 30,8409 to 31,9189. The number of foreigners in the Ministry of Health fell from 31,417 to 30,815 and in the Ministry of Education from 24,321 to 23,623. At the same time, the number of foreigners in the Ministries of Law and Religious Affairs increased from 3,162 to 3,252.
