Laboratory Safety Training for Medical and Nursing Students
The Laboratory Safety Training is a mandatory course designed for students and faculty members participating in research activities at the Wonju College of Medicine and Wonju College of Nursing.
Target Audience
- 1st and 2nd year medical school students
- First year medical students
- All undergraduate students in the Nursing Department
- All graduate students
- Professors, teaching assistants, researchers, and other personnel involved in research activities
Training Period
The training will take place from September 2, 2024 (Monday) to November 30, 2024 (Saturday).
Course Requirements
To complete the course, participants must score 60 points or higher on the evaluation. Retakes are possible for those who do not meet the minimum score requirement.
Course Details
The course consists of 2 required subjects and 4 elective subjects, totaling 6 subjects and approximately 2 hours of online education.
Education Method
The training will be conducted online through the Laboratory Safety Management System (safe.yonsei.ac.kr). Participants are advised to use Internet Explorer for optimal access.
Consequences of Non-Completion
Those who fail to complete the training within the specified period will face restricted entry to research labs (experimental labs, practice rooms), and their names will be notified to the professor in charge of the subject.
Verification of Completion
Participants who complete the training do not need to submit a certificate of completion, as their completion can be verified through the system log records.
