The 32-year-old Finney-Smith is expected to recover in time for training camp prior to the 2025-26 NBA season. He missed eight games last season due to what the Lakers termed “left ankle injury management.” Before joining the Lakers, he also missed 12 games with the Brooklyn Nets because of the same ankle issue, which led to calf problems.
