Comedian Yoo Min-sang, also known as the ‘Godfather of Mukbang’, explodes with laughter in every program he appears on.

He debuted as a comedian in the 20th KBS open recruitment and has been active in various programs including ‘Gag Concert’, and is currently loved by viewers as a regular member of the popular entertainment show ‘Delicious Guys’.

At the height of his popularity, Yoo Min-sang is attracting attention again with an anecdote in which he received 10 million won for emceeing a single wedding.

The highest event appearance fee is 10 million won.

Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘E Three Meals’, he reminisced about those days and confessed his experience as an emcee at a wedding where he received the highest event fee.

At the time, he asked for an unprecedented amount of 10 million won with the intention of rejecting the offer due to his busy schedule every day, but surprisingly, the organizer accepted the offer and he ended up receiving a large amount of 10 million won for only 20 minutes of emceeing.

Yoo Min-sang smiled and said, “There has been no similar case since then,” and revealed that this experience was the highest amount of money he had ever paid for appearing at an event.

Meanwhile, comedians made the filming set into a sea of laughter by exposing Yoo Min-sang’s appearance fee in ‘Delicious Guys’.

When co-star Kim Min-kyung suddenly revealed, “Yoo Min-sang’s appearance fee is higher than mine,” Moon Se-yoon also jokingly said, “It would be better to lower the appearance fee a little,” embarrassing Yoo Min-sang.

Yoo Min-sang joked back, saying, “We would negotiate the price only if we received an offer, but that is not the case.” In response, Kim Min-kyung added laughter to the scene by saying, “If we lower the appearance fee publicly, wouldn’t there be more advertisements?”

However, during his prime, Yoo Min-sang also had bitter memories. At the time, he was very popular and active, but unfortunately, he was scammed by the company representative and suffered financial damage.

He said that he suffered losses when the CEO who took care of his profits disappeared and said, “This happens often in our profession.”
