LCR Team Unveils 2024 MotoGP Bikes for Takaaki Nakagami and Johann Zarco

Honda’s satellite team, LCR Team, has revealed the bike on which Takaaki Nakagami and Johann Zarco will compete in the 2024 MotoGP. As in previous years, LCR has announced that the livery of its 2024 MotoGP bikes will include one of two satellite Honda R213Vs with the Castrol livery and the other with the livery of the Japanese oil company Idemitsu. A split approach was adopted.

LCR unveiled the first of two bikes sporting Castrol’s familiar green, white and red look on Thursday morning, with Zarco also making an official appearance wearing the team’s 2024 kit. The second Idemitsu-sponsored bike, which Takaaki Nakagami will once again ride, was revealed in an online presentation late this afternoon. Both liveries have been slightly changed from last year, with Zarco’s bike now featuring a striped pattern. CASTROL Honda LCRLCR takes Honda’s only victory of the 2023 MotoGP season at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, after the incredible performance of Alex Rins, who moved to the official Yamaha team to replace Franco Morbidelli. Rins’ place in LCR has been taken by Zarco, who joined Honda this year after three years with Ducati. Zarco finally achieved his first MotoGP victory at Phillip Island in 2023. His experience will help bring Honda back to the forefront of the championship after a long period of stagnation. Meanwhile, Takaaki Nakagami is in his seventh year with Honda’s only satellite team, bringing continuity. IDEMITSU Honda LCR Takaaki Nakagami is second in the 2023 Honda standings behind six-time champion Marc Marquez on his factory RC213V with 56 points from 20 race weekends and has become a rider with good results. Takaaki Nakagami and Johann Zarco will take part in the final pre-season tests in Qatar next week before the 2024 season begins in the Middle East on March 10.
