Downtown Cool Heads West: le PÈRE Opens LA Flagship
New York City’s buzzy menswear label, le PÈRE, is bringing its unique blend of artist-inspired fashion adn vibrant events to the West Coast. The brand, known for its energetic Orchard Street happenings, will open its doors in Los Angeles’s trendy West Hollywood neighborhood on december 3rd.
Located at 8507 Melrose Avenue, the new store will mirror the brand’s New York flagship, offering a curated selection of le PÈRE’s signature menswear alongside a dedicated space for events.
“With the continued success of all the artist events that we’ve been doing here in New York, tons of folks have been like, ‘You obviously have a pretty extensive artist network and there [are] so many musicians and whatnot based in Los Angeles — are you guys ever going to do anything out there?’” explains Abhi Janamanchi, brand director at le PÈRE.
“We just felt like it was the right time for us to have a hub out West given so much of our community and network being out there, and also just the fact that L.A. is such a big cultural center point, especially within the music scene,” he adds.
Designed by Bond Architecture,the firm behind le PÈRE’s New York shop,the Los Angeles space draws inspiration from classic Southern California aesthetics. Think skateparks and theaters,with a warm,wooden facade and bleacher seating.
The opening of the los Angeles store marks a meaningful step for le PÈRE, solidifying its position as a rising force in the American menswear scene.
