Portuguese Jose Mourinho was linked to coaching Bayern Munich, succeeding current coach Thomas Tuchel, due to the Bavarian club’s poor results.
Bayern suffered a crushing defeat against Bayer Leverkusen with a score of 3-0 yesterday, Saturday, in the 21st round of the German League, making the Bavarian team’s task in the title race more complicated, as it occupies second place, 5 points behind Leverkusen.
The German newspaper “Sport Bild” reported that Mourinho wants to coach Bayern Munich, and is currently learning the German language, noting that “he has previously flirted with the Bavarian club, and he will be ready to agree if the position is offered to him.”

The loss to Leverkusen increased the pressure on German coach Thomas Tuchel, but Bavarian club CEO Jan Christian Driessen said, “They have full confidence in Tuchel and are not thinking about separating from the former Borussia Dortmund coach.”
Mourinho was dismissed from coaching Roma last month, following the team’s decline in the Italian League, noting that he had many major experiences with Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter, and Manchester United.
