Iran Offers Lebanon Reconstruction Aid Amid Dialogue Support

Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran met with Lebanese officials in Beirut on June 3, expressing Iran’s readiness to assist in the reconstruction of Lebanon. Araghchi stated that iranian companies are prepared to participate in the reconstruction efforts, working through the Lebanese government.
During the meeting, araghchi emphasized Iran’s support for national dialogue, national unity, and national consensus within Lebanon. He asserted that these discussions are solely the concern of the Lebanese people,and no foreign contry should interfere. The Iranian Foreign Minister also voiced strong support for Lebanon’s independence.
