Led by Jordanian coach Manar Freij, Al-Ahly is champion of the Saudi Women’s Federation Cup

  • Al-Shabab qualified for the final match after defeating Al-Ittihad with a score of (5-4), while Al-Ahly overcame Al-Qadisiyah team (3-2).

Led by Jordanian coach Manar Freij, Al-Ahly team won the Saudi Women’s Federation Cup in its first edition, after defeating its counterpart Al-Shabab.

The match ended with Al-Ahly winning 3-2, in the final, which was held at the Kingdom Arena in the capital, Riyadh.

Al-Ahly opened the match’s goals through its player Ibtisam Jaradi, who also scored the second goal, while Kabakaba Naomi doubled the score.

Player Oriana Altufi and her colleague Shaima Abbasi scored for Al-Shabab from a penalty kick.

Al-Shabab qualified for the final match after defeating Al-Ittihad with a score of (5-4), while Al-Ahly overcame Al-Qadisiyah team (3-2).

The Al-Qadisiyah team won third place and the bronze medal, after defeating Al-Ittihad on penalties (5-4) after the match ended in a goalless draw in its original time.
