Lee Han-byul Shares Heartwarming Bond with Go Hyun-jung on the Set of ‘Mask Girl’

Mask Girl Lee Han-byul shared her thoughts about her experience working with Go Hyun-jung. The production presentation for the Netflix series ‘Mask Girl’, directed by Kim Yong-hoon, took place at JW Marriott Dongdaemun in Seoul on the morning of the 16th. Director Kim Yong-hoon and actors Ko Hyeon-jeong, Ahn Jae-hong, Yum Hye-ran, Nana, and Lee Han-byeol were in attendance at the event.

During the event, Lee Han-byul expressed her gratitude for being able to be a part of such a meaningful occasion. She admitted to feeling nervous and anxious beforehand but found solace in being surrounded by her older colleagues. Lee Han-byul also shared a heartwarming anecdote about her working relationship with Go Hyun-jung.

Lee Han-byul revealed that she had only met Go Hyun-jung for the first time after filming had concluded. Upon seeing each other, Go Hyun-jung jokingly referred to themselves as “Mummy A” and “Mummy C” respectively, in reference to their characters in the series. Lee Han-byul felt touched when she witnessed Go Hyun-jung’s bright smile upon being called by her character name, realizing that the three actors had genuinely enjoyed creating their characters together. This encounter left a lasting impression on Lee Han-byul, making it a warm and gratitude-filled memory.

Go Hyun-jung reciprocated the affection, describing the experience as “amazing” and playfully referring to themselves as Mommy A and Mommy C.

‘Mask Girl’ tells the story of Kim Mo-mi, an average office worker who struggles with her appearance and becomes entangled in unforeseen events while working as an internet BJ broadcaster masked every night. The series is set to be released on Netflix on the 18th.

Regarding Ko Hyeon-jung, who worked together, “I met (Ko Hyun-jung) for the first time after filming ended, and when he saw me for the first time, he hug and say, ‘You’re Mummy A., I’m Mummy C.’ For convenience, we called ‘A, B, C’ When I saw her smile brightly when calling her character by name, I could feel that ‘the three actors loved the experience of Kim Mo-mi, who create it together, and behave happily.’ It gave me strength. It was a warm and grateful memory.”

Hearing this, Ko Hyeon-jung expressed affection, saying, “It was so amazing. So I said, ‘Oh, Mommy Are you, C am I.’

Meanwhile, ‘Mask Girl’ depicts the troubled life of Momi Kim, an ordinary office worker with a complex about her appearance, who is caught up in unintended incidents while working as an internet BJ broadcast while covering her face with a mask every night . It will be released on Netflix on the 18th.
