On the 1st, when Seongnam Urban Development Corporation (Seongnam Provincial Construction Corporation), a party to the suspicion of preferential treatment for public development Hwacheon Daeyu Asset Management (Hwacheon Daeyu) for public development in Daejang-dong, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, announced on the 1st that former planning director Yoo Dong-gyu was out of business, Democratic Party presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung protested.

Candidate Lee met with reporters after visiting the Liberation Party in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the same day and said, “What the president of Seongnam Province said about the opening of construction is just his opinion.” Then there is no reason for private investors to participate. Please make a judgment based on common sense.”

He continued, “If the public offering was made with a fixed profit and the high-priced Hana Bank was awarded the bid, but if the real estate market improves than expected, will the other party accept it? Does it make sense to say that not forcing the other party to breach the trust is a breach of trust?” he asked.

Seongnam Province Construction Corporation posted a document on its website titled ‘Report on Response Plans for the Pangyo Chief Urban Development Project’ in the name of President Yoon Jung-soo, and found that former general manager Yoo and related employees, Hwacheon Daeyu and related affiliates Cheonhwa-dongin Nos. stated that it was judged. Accordingly, it is possible to claim compensation for damages and return of unfair profits.

Candidate Lee later met with reporters after visiting the Korean Senior Citizens’ Association in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, saying, “It was customary to allow the private sector to have 100% of the development profits, but I broke that and returned the largest development profit of a local government even though the people’s power was blocked. “I apologize from the HR manager’s point of view that some of the front-line employees were polluted in the process, but this is the greatest achievement made out of a consensus that the public should have the development profits resulting from the exercise of public authority.” I have no intention of avoiding it,” he said.

Meanwhile, former general manager Yoo, who was charged with bribery, was additionally charged with breach of trust.
