Regarding the strike situation at the Supreme Council meeting today (7th), Representative Lee said, “The problem cannot be solved by conflict with Gangdae-gang,” and he said, “The National Assembly will work actively to mediate the conflict.”
Representative Lee pointed out that, “I do not see the efforts of the party in control of the government to resolve the strike of the cargo union,” and “there are only threats to accept the unilateral request of the government or to remove all the measures current support.”
He emphasized, “A person who is hostile to labor cannot be a politician.”
“It is said that the International Labor Organization (ILO) has launched an emergency intervention procedure, but if it is judged to be against the convention, the problem becomes serious,” he said.
Representative Lee said, “It may be possible to take small political gains through hard-line policies, but it can cause a big blow to the national economy.”
