Lee Jae-seong and Jung Woo-young scored goals side by side in the Bundesliga… Team wins are unsuccessful

‘Lee Jae-sung’s third goal of the season’ Mainz lost 1-4 to Leipzig
Freiburg drew 2-2 with Bielefeld… Jung Woo-young’s 4th goal of the season

Lee Jae-seong (30, Mainz) and Jung Woo-young (23, Freiburg), who are active in the German professional soccer Bundesliga, started scoring in the first game of the new year, but it did not lead to the team’s victory.

Lee Jae-seong started in the 18th round away match of the Bundesliga in the 2021-2022 season against Leipzig, which ended at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany on the 9th (Korean time) and scored a goal in the 12th minute when the team was drawn 0-2.

This is Lee Jae-sung’s third goal of the season, and after scoring a goal in the 16th round against Getafe Berlin on the 15th of last month, he started scoring again after two matches.

He has three goals and two assists in the Bundesliga this season.

Jae-Sung Lee’s team, Mainz, lost to Leipzig 1-4 in the fight.

In the 19th minute of the first half, Mainz was sent off for a handball foul by Alexander Hark, and Leipzig conceded a penalty kick.

Leipzig took the lead in the 21st minute when Andre Silva’s penalty kick shook the net.

Leipzig, who were outnumbered, scored an additional goal in the second minute to make it 2-0.

After receiving a pass from Christopher Nkunku, Dominic Soboslay kicked a right-footed shot from the center of the penalty area, which was initially ruled offside, but was later recognized as a goal.

Mainz tried to reverse the mood with a goal by Jae-Sung Lee in the 12th minute of the second half.

Lee Jae-seong, who dug into the penalty area by exchanging the ball with Karim Onishiwo, opened the scoring with his left foot.

However, Leipzig conceded another goal to Nkunku in the first minute, and Silva added another three minutes later.

After taking out a replacement card, Mainz replaced Lee Jae-sung with Merveille Papella in the 37th minute of the second half, but could not close the gap any longer.

After losing twice in a row, Mainz fell to 10th place (24 points) in the league.

With three points, Leipzig moved up to eighth place (25 points).

Freiburg, whose fourth goal of the season was scored by Jung Woo-young, drew 2-2 with Bielefeld, lower ranked, to share one point.

Freiburg are 4th (30 points) and Bielefeld are 17th (17 points).

Freiburg, who took the lead with Yannick Haverer’s goal in the 6th minute of the match, fled with Jung Woo-young’s additional goal in the 1st minute of the second half.

A cross from Christian Gunter from the left side of the penalty area was pushed into the head by Jung Woo-young.

This is Jung Woo-young’s fourth league goal after 10 games since the match against Leipzig in October of last year.

But the lead didn’t last long.

Freiburg conceded a goal to Bielefeld Okugawa Masaya in the 15th minute of the second half, and Brayan Rasm equalized in the 42nd minute, ending the match 2-2.

Jung Woo-young played 87 minutes until he was substituted for Ermedine Demirovic in the 42nd minute.
