‘Emperor of Tennis’ Roger Federer (43, Switzerland) and ‘Ski Empress’ Lindsey Vonn (40, USA) ski down a snowy mountain together.

On the 11th, Bon posted a video of him skiing with Federer on his social media. The two have been friends for many years, and on the 10th, they released a video saying they were skiing together for the first time. Federer loves to ski, but is said to have skied as little as possible during his active years due to the risk of injury. In the video, Federer ran down the slope in a stable posture and at high speed.

“I finally got to ski with my friend Roger,” Vaughn said. “We had been talking about skiing together for a while, but we weren’t sure if it would ever happen. “But now we are both retired and able to enjoy life.” He added, “Thank you Roger for giving me good memories.”

Federer, along with Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Novak Djokovic (Serbia), is known as the ‘Big 3’ and is a star who dominated men’s tennis in the 2000s. He recorded a record 396 wins in the four major tournaments and increased the trophy haul a total of 20 times. He announced his retirement in September 2022.

Bon is a skiing star with a total of 82 victories in World Cup skiing competitions. This was the highest record in history until it was broken by current star Mikayla Shiffrin (USA, 95 wins). Vonn is also a gold medalist at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. She retired from active duty in 2019.

Fans were also excited to see the two sports stars skiing together. Fans left comments on Bon’s social media post, such as “It warms my heart to see these two legends having fun together,” and “Next time, show them playing tennis together.”
