Lego Unveils Lord of the Rings Balrog Book Nook Set

Lego is expanding its Lord of the Rings collection with a new Balrog Book Nook, depicting Gandalf’s battle in Moria. This release follows Lego’s trend of creating detailed Middle-earth sets, but introduces a unique book nook design.
Priced at $130, the 1,201-piece set can be displayed fully open or folded into a compact book nook. This allows it to fit easily on a bookshelf, blending with Lord of the Rings books. The Lord of the rings Balrog Book Nook set joins the Sherlock holmes book nook in Lego’s product line.
The set features a Gandalf minifigure, complete with his sword and staff. The brick-built Balrog includes a flame whip and large wings. A brick printed with Gandalf’s “You shall not pass!” quote is displayed on the front.
