Spain expects more than 300,000 new cancer diagnoses in 2026, according to estimates released by the Spanish Society of Medical Oncology and the Spanish Network of Cancer Registries, with breast cancer projected to reach 38,318 new cases as the most diagnosed tumor among women.
Breast Cancer Incidence and Survival Rates in Spain
The latest data from the Spanish Network of Cancer Registries places net five-year survival for breast cancer at approximately 86 percent, reflecting decades of improvements in scientific research and medical treatment. Overall cancer survival figures in Spain have doubled across the last four decades, according to the medical registries. Medical authorities emphasize that ongoing scientific investigation remains essential to maintaining these gains, as prevention and early diagnosis depend directly on laboratory discoveries. Breast cancer accounts for the highest incidence among female tumors in the country, showing the scale of the public health challenge.
Salon Contributions Through the Campaña Pink Product Sales
To support ongoing scientific efforts, Lendan reported that its 2026 Campaña Pink initiative will channel funds directly to breast cancer research via the Fundación Víctor Martínez Vicario. Participating hair salons will feature the CC Hair Cream, a multi-function leave-in treatment formulated for daily hair care, hydration, repair, and heat protection.
For every unit of the CC Hair Cream sold during the campaign, Lendan allocates 1 euro to the research foundation. The initiative ties professional beauty services and everyday consumer purchases to social impact, encouraging salon clients to contribute to medical research through routine hair care choices.
