Leverkusen fans storm the Bremen match stadium after winning the German League.. Video

Fans of Bayern Leverkusen, champions of the German League, stormed the stadium of their team’s match against Bremen, which ended with Leverkusen winning by five, as a result of which it was officially crowned the league title for the first time in its history.

The fans rushed to the field after the match ended to celebrate the historic title with the players.

Bayer Leverkusen won the German League title for the current season 2023-24, after defeating Werder Bremen 5-0 in the match that was held between them this evening, Sunday, at the Bay Arena, in the 29th round of the “Bundesliga” tournament.

The goals of the match were scored by: Victor Boniface in the 25th minute of the match after a penalty kick, and Granit Xhaka and Florian Wirtz scored a hat-trick in the 60th, 68th, 83rd, and 90th minutes, respectively.

With this result, Bayer Leverkusen was at the top of the German League standings with 79 points collected from winning 25 matches and drawing 4, keeping its record unbeaten, scoring 74 goals and conceding 19.

While Werder Bremen is in twelfth place in the German League table with 31 points collected from winning 8 matches, drawing 7, losing 14 matches, scoring 36 goals and conceding 49.

Bayer Leverkusen succeeded in winning the German League title after achieving a 16-point gap with its closest competitor, Bayern Munich, with 5 rounds remaining until the end.

Joy spread around the Bay Arena as soon as the match referee blew the final whistle after confirming that their team had won the German League title, a major historical achievement for the club.

The streets surrounding the “BayArena” stadium, the home of the German club Bayer Leverkusen, witnessed the presence of a large number of the team’s fans, preparing to celebrate winning the German League title for the first time in history.

The official page of the Leverkusen Club on the “X” website published a video of the fans’ celebration outside the BayArena Stadium, which began from now, in the hope of achieving victory in order to officially crown the title.

Bayer Leverkusen achieved a great renaissance in its technical level this season, thanks to the prowess of its Spanish coach, Xabi Alonso, who put his trust in young talents capable of implementing his ideas and plans on the field, and he is close to reaping his efforts by winning the German League title.

Leverkusen also advanced to the cup final with a landslide victory over its guest, Fortuna Dusseldorf, from the second division, 4-0, and will compete in the quarter-finals of the Europa League competition, where it will meet English club West Ham next week.
