Liam Gallagher has blasted the Edinburgh Council after a report surfaced describing Oasis fans as “rowdy” and likely‍ to be heavily intoxicated. the council’s briefing documents, obtained by the Scottish Sun, raised concerns about potential disruptions to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, scheduled for August.

The Oasis reunion tour is highly anticipated, with 210,000 tickets sold.The report suggested that “middle-aged men take up more room,” a comment that notably ‍irked Gallagher.

Gallagher took to X to express his⁣ displeasure. “To the Edinburgh council I’ve heard what you said ‍about Oasis fans and quite frankly your attitude fucking stinks,” he wrote.He added, “I’d leave town that day if I was any of you lot.”

The Liam⁢ Gallagher-fronted band is gearing up for their first reunion show on july 4 in Cardiff. The tour includes 19 shows across the UK and Ireland, with⁤ Richard Ashcroft and cast as support acts. Seven of those shows will be at London’s ⁣Wembley Stadium.
