Lidl Expands Presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina with New Facility

German retail giant Lidl has commenced construction on a new facility in Bosanska Gradiška, a strategic location in the north of Bosnia and Herzegovina, near the border with Croatia.

The chosen site is situated in close proximity to the highway connecting Bosnia and Herzegovina to Zagreb, making it an ideal spot for shopping and a transit point for passengers traveling between the two countries.

The area is already home to a large retail center and supermarkets from five major shopping chains, with Lidl set to become the sixth prominent retailer in the vicinity.

The concentration of retail chains in this area is likely due to its appeal to citizens from neighboring Croatia, as well as its role as a transit point for many passengers.
