Yamagami murdered Abe in ⁣July 2022, using a ‍homemade firearm during a⁣ campaign speech in ‍Nara, Japan.

Judge ⁤Shinichi Tanaka​ delivered the sentence at a court in Nara, as ⁤reported by Reuters and AFP.
