(Incheon = Yonhap News) Reporter Eunji Choi = A petition from parents has been filed saying that their middle school daughter, who was vaccinated against the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19), is living or dying with symptoms of myocarditis.

On the 25th, according to the Internet bulletin board of the Blue House National Petition, ‘My 14-year-old daughter, who received the Pfizer vaccine, is living and dying from myocarditis. A petition titled ‘Please help me’ was posted.

The author said, “My second daughter, who is a freshman in middle school, was a healthy child who liked to exercise and had no minor illness.” Then, on the 22nd of last month, the daughter received the Pfizer 1st vaccine and fainted during light exercise on the 4th of this month. I went,” he said.

He continued, “During the 3rd week of treatment for myocarditis, I suffered several cardiac arrests, damaging my lungs and liver. The cost of treatment alone, which was difficult to bear, was over 30 million won,” he appealed.

The author also criticized the answers to other Blue House petitions to the effect that ‘the majority of youths who reported adverse reactions to vaccination recovered quickly’ or ‘we are subsidizing medical expenses even for cases with unclear causality’.

“My daughter is struggling with death in the intensive care unit, but she has never been contacted or heard about such compensation from anywhere,” he said. I think support should be provided before confirmation.”

As of this afternoon, about 7,900 people have signed the petition.

According to the city of Incheon, Ms. A (14), who was admitted to the intensive care unit, received the first dose of Pfizer at a clinic in Michuhol-gu, Incheon on the 22nd of last month.

Miss A showed headache symptoms on the day of the inoculation and was prescribed Tylenol.

Ms. A was admitted to Gachon University Gil Hospital in Namdong-gu, Incheon, and received treatment, but was transferred to a large hospital in Seoul the day before and is waiting for a heart transplant.

The quarantine authorities are investigating a causal relationship with vaccination after receiving a report of an adverse reaction from Gil Hospital.

An official from Incheon City said, “We are currently conducting an epidemiological investigation after receiving a related report.”
