Johnson Loses Bet After Jaguars Beat Bengals
Johnson originally proposed a light $2,000 bet on the Bengals, but escalated the stakes after some online taunting on X. Johnson predicted a 32-17 victory for Cincinnati. Instead, the Jaguars secured a 22-17 win.
Following the final whistle, Duval celebrated the victory by posting a video on X of himself dancing with local comedian Nod Ross. Duval also urged his followers to spam Johnson’s social media account.
Johnson conceded defeat publicly on X. Salute to all the Jaguars fans, I [expletive] love y’all, but I had to root for my team,
Johnson posted.
William Raines High School Football Equipment Funding
Johnson transferred the funds after the loss. Duval confirmed he would direct the cash toward his alma mater to buy athletic gear.
We good, Duval said. He sent me the money, and this is what I’m gonna do with the money. I’m gonna take the money, and I’m going to take it to Raines High School and pay for some football equipment for them.
This contribution follows previous support from the comedian. In December 2024, Duval covered the remaining balance for the Raines High School band to travel to Miami for the Florida 3A state championship football game after the group fell short of its $10,000 fundraising goal.
