Lisa of BLACKPINK Exudes Goddess-Like Aura at MTV Video Music Awards
Lisa of BLACKPINK was nominated in four categories at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards for her solo song “ROCKSTAR.” In one of those categories, Best K-Pop, she was up against some of today’s most popular K-Pop idols, including Stray Kids, New Jeans, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, NCT DREAM, and Jungkook.
However, on the red carpet, she showed overwhelming charisma that was not affected by the outcome of the award. She wore a long dress by Mugler with gloves and a hood. A nude-colored corset peeks out from under the peach-colored draping, and the metallic decoration along the neckline adds an accent to the dress, evoking a mysterious beauty reminiscent of Botticelli’s famous painting “The Birth of Venus.”
The dress alone is a captivating look, but Lisa added a Bvlgari “Serpenti” necklace to it. Her goddess-like aura is truly that of a star who moves the times.
