Manama: The Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has tightened inspections to detect illegal employers in the country. The inspection conducted in the Southern Governorate yesterday revealed many violations of the law. LMRA informed that legal action has been taken against them. The inspection was conducted at various workplaces in collaboration with the Nationality, Passports and Residents Affairs (NPRA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Southern Governorate Directorate.
LMRA officials said that the inspection is part of the measures to improve the working environment by eliminating illegal labor practices. He also asked the public to report any violation of labor laws.
