It turns out that the local Nonghyup distributed holiday gifts for neighbors in need to the farming chairman and the best customers.
The Nonghyup explained that he gave the gifts knowing that there would be more left because there were not many people to share them with.
The Nonghyup Foundation decided to review whether to continue this aid project itself.

Local Nonghyup in Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do gave it extensive publicity earlier this month saying he had decided to distribute holiday gifts to neighbors in need.
This is a 50,000 won meat processing food set distributed by the Nonghyup Foundation for the holidays.
However, the Nonghyup’s best customer with a deposit of 100 million won and the farming chairman actually received this gift.

“I have received it now because I gave (a gift), but I give it every year. I think I gave it because I put a lot of money (in my account) (I thought) .”
The Nonghyup Foundation sent a total of 190 gift sets to the Nonghyup to give to neighbors in need.
However, only 20 gifts, or about one-tenth of the total, were actually delivered to the vulnerable.
The Nonghyup said he thought there would be some gifts left because there were few people to deliver them, and decided to review the list of recipients for about 100 items that had not yet been sent.

“As I could not sufficiently identify the list of vulnerable people in advance, I was complacent with the thought that I should get rid of them (quickly) because the holidays were approaching…”
A total of 18,000 gifts were delivered by the Nonghyup Foundation to Nonghyup across the country before this holiday.
The organization said it had no idea on what basis and to whom the gifts were distributed, and said that if there was confirmation that the gifts were distributed contrary to the original purpose of supporting the vulnerable, the support project will itself is reviewed.
