Priced at AUD $7,399.95 for the Rally Bar 2 video bar, a fresh lineup of workplace video collaboration devices has been rolled out by Logitech for corporate clients, marking what the company terms its largest enterprise product release to date. The line-up includes the Rally Bar 2, the Rally System 2 Pro modular conferencing system, and Sound Shape audio technology designed for medium-sized to large and divisible rooms.
Logitech Deploys Rally Bar 2 and Modular Conferencing Systems
Featuring a Qualcomm processor, a redesigned lens, a 1-inch sensor, and the latest iteration of the brand’s Right Sound audio system, the Rally Bar 2 serves as the successor to Logitech’s original Rally Bar. The device also includes embedded sensors intended to detect room occupancy and environmental conditions. Logitech states that those sensors can trigger room-booking actions when people enter a space and supply occupancy data for workplace planning. Rally Bar 2 is certified for Microsoft Teams, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet, and runs on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform.
For larger installations, the Rally System 2 Pro provides a modular option for complex room layouts. It targets large multipurpose and divisible spaces that typically require several vendors and intricate set-ups. RoomMate 2 Pro—a compute box built on a Qualcomm platform—alongside Rally AI Camera Pro, a dual-camera product combining a wide-angle sensor with an optical pan, tilt, and zoom design, are integrated into the broader system. Logitech also introduced Logitech Link, which connects devices over category cabling for audiovisual transport across rooms.
Alongside the conferencing hardware, Logitech released updated room controls. Retailing at AUD $2,249, the Tap IP 2 is a network-connected touch controller equipped with a brighter display, whereas the Tap Scheduler 2 is a room scheduling panel that features upgraded computing along with a built-in motion sensor, priced at AUD $2,299. Rally Bar 2, Tap IP 2, and Tap Scheduler 2 are rolling out globally now. Rally System 2 Pro, RoomMate 2 Pro, and the Rally Speaker 2 range will arrive later.
Sound Shape Technology Uses Focused Acoustic Beams
A central component of the launch is Sound Shape, an audio technology that directs sound toward listeners through focused acoustic beams rather than dispersing it broadly. Comprising a single soundbar with 32 micro-drivers, the Rally Speaker 2 Pro is complemented by the Rally Speaker 2 Max, which broadens coverage utilizing 64 drivers.
According to Logitech, the system distributes sound evenly across a 20-metre room, addressing coverage challenges in executive boardrooms and training spaces previously managed with costly ceiling speaker array installations. Karthik Rajagopal, Head of VC Engineering at Logitech, described the physics behind the release:
We’ve replaced the brute-force approach of cranking up room volume with wave-field physics – essentially steering sound waves through open air with surgical precision.
Karthik Rajagopal
ChannelLife Australia also outlined an early-stage multilingual application for the Rally Speaker 2 Max. Providing separate audio feeds directed at opposite sides of the same room, the setup empowers distinct groups to simultaneously listen to different spoken languages.
The international boardroom of the future isn’t about finding a single universal dialect-it’s about translation coexisting in the same acoustic space. Sound Shape unlocks big potential for cross-border diplomacy, global M&A negotiations, and multi-regional training environments.

Logitech Hardware Addresses IT Mandates for AI Readiness
The product rollout responds to evolving workplace demands. Henry Levak, General Manager of Team Workspace Solutions at Logitech, outlined the strategy behind the hardware generation:
This second generation of smart video collaboration devices is Logitech’s answer to a new, dual mandate for IT: Deliver exceptional meeting experiences today while preparing for an AI-powered tomorrow.
Henry Levak
As offices undergo reconfiguration, businesses have shown a growing demand for hardware that facilitates both hybrid meetings and the monitoring of workspace utilization. To handle advanced camera framing across these deployments, Logitech scheduled Right Sight 3 multi-camera switching for release as a free CollabOS software update. Right Sight 3 will use several wall-mounted or table-based cameras to select the optimal view of the room.
