Tokenization platform Securitize has launched Securitize Stocks, bringing a dozen of the biggest U.S. equities directly onto the blockchain with 1:1 backing from real shares. The product opens with security entitlements to widely held names including Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, Tesla, Meta, Amazon, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, and Palantir. Tokenized stocks should give investors more than a price on a wrapper that tracks a stock and is only offered offshore, said Carlos Domingo, chairman and CEO of Securitize.

Securitize Launches Convertible Entitlement Tokens on Solana

The tokens are built around a framework called Convertible Entitlement Tokens, or CETs, representing security entitlements under the Uniform Commercial Code. The platform went live on October 8, 2026. Unlike synthetic products that merely track a stock price, each token is backed one-to-one by an underlying share held at a regulated brokerage, preserving economic rights such as dividends and voting rights where applicable.

The shares backing the tokens will not be lent out, and holders can convert their entitlements into actual registered shares where an issuer supports it. Access is restricted to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union, and other permitted jurisdictions who complete KYC and AML checks through Securitize’s broker-dealer platform.

Securitize Uses Solana and USDC for Trading Settlement

Trading initially runs on Securitize’s Solana-based PropAMM, with transactions settling in the USDC stablecoin rather than through traditional Wall Street settlement systems. Jump Trading is serving as the market maker to ensure liquidity, while RQD handles clearing, custody, and settlement. Additional partners including Ripple Prime and Aave are slated to support the rollout, allowing the assets to integrate into onchain lending and collateral markets.

Trading hours are extended at launch with the long-term goal of achieving round-the-clock availability. Solana’s stablecoin reach has expanded to more than 14 million holder addresses with a total volume exceeding 15 billion U.S. dollars.

Expansion Plans For NYSE And OKX-ICE Venues

Beyond the Solana network deployment, Securitize expects its tokenized shares to trade on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned 24/7 digital trading platform and the OKX-ICE tokenized-securities venue, subject to regulatory approvals and venue launches. This multi-channel distribution strategy aims to move tokenized equities beyond purely crypto-native platforms into regulated institutional market infrastructure.
