Lord’s Cricket Ground is set to become the frist sports venue to adopt Waymap, a navigation app designed to improve accessibility. The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) is implementing the technology to provide step-by-step directions without relying on GPS,Wi-Fi,or mobile data. This initiative aims to support visually impaired users and enhance the experience for all visitors, offering routing to seats, amenities, and exits, including journey planning from within the M25.
Bristol Bears Women Secure Continued Sponsorship
Bristol Bears Women will see continued support from xledger, the enterprise cloud finance software company. Xledger has renewed its partnership as the team’s Principal Partner and new Front of Shirt sponsor for the 2025/26 season. The two-year deal builds upon Xledger’s existing relationship with Bristol Sport, which began in 2019. The sponsorship also extends to the Bears’ community project ”Bear in Mind,” supporting teenage girls through rugby and providing financial solutions to Bristol Sport.
