Investigation Underway

Kuomintang Kaohsiung City Councilor Huang Shaoting was involved in raising assistant fees, and his whereabouts are still a mystery. Police searched 10 places, including residences and service offices, and brought back 17 people involved, including Huang Xiaoting’s parents.

This morning, the Kaohsiung District Prosecutor’s Office ordered staff from the Tainan City Investigation Department of the Ministry of Justice’s Investigation Bureau to search the residence and service office of the Chinese Kuomintang’s Kaohsiung City Councilor Huang Shaoting.

A total of 17 people, including Huang Xiaoting’s parents and service office staff, were initially brought back to explain the case.

The Kaohsiung District Prosecutor’s Office pointed out in the afternoon that the case is still under investigation in accordance with the law and that the relevant facts will be clarified in the future in the spirit of not being vain and not indulgent.

Since Huang Xiaoting’s personal statement regarding the case has not yet been received, the prosecutor is communicating through multiple channels, and further investigation will be conducted according to relevant procedures.

According to neighbors near the service office, they saw Huang Shaoting carrying a suitcase around 6 a.m. and quickly got into a taxi and left without saying hello to the neighbors.
