King Colis, a French firm specializing in the sale of undelivered logistics packages, will open a pop-up store in Limerick from April 21 to April 26, 2026. The event will take place at the Parkway Shopping Centre, where the company will sell more than 10 tonnes of mystery items.

The business operates through an experiential retail scheme that recovers undelivered packages to prevent them from being destroyed by logistics companies. Following previous pop-up events in Dublin and Cork, the firm is expanding its presence in the Irish market with the Limerick location.

Operational Model and Sales Process

The sales process at the pop-up store is based on a weight-determined pricing model. Customers are permitted 10 minutes to select a package from the available inventory of 10 tonnes.

Operational Model and Sales Process

Under the terms of the sale, customers are not allowed to open the packages before purchase. The final cost of the item is determined only after the selected package is weighed, after which the buyer can reveal the contents.

The inventory consists of a wide range of products, including:

  • Technology and household appliances
  • Designer clothing
  • Cosmetics
  • General household items

The company has noted that high-value items have been discovered at previous events. These include collectible gold bars and an ultra-rare Pokémon Card valued at €3,000.

Corporate Perspective

Killian Denis, the CEO and co-founder of King Colis, stated that the company is returning to Ireland following the success of its previous installations.

After the success of our pop-ups in Dublin and Cork we are thrilled to bring another King Colis Lost Packages sale to Ireland. We see such an exciting week because you really never know what you might find in the packages. Hopefully you are one of the lucky ones that finds a real treasure, but there’s no guarantee and that’s all the fun.

Killian Denis, CEO and co-founder of King Colis

Denis added that because stock is limited, he recommends that customers getting in early to ensure availability.
