Dubai | Lulu’s new hypermarket opens in Dubai Investment Park. Omar Al Mesmer, General Manager, Dubai Investment Park, is the 225th largest hypermarket in the world, in the presence of MA Yousafali, Chairman of the Lulu Group. Yusufali said the challenges posed by Kovid have been overcome as a result of the long-term measures taken by the authorities.
He added that more hypermarkets would be set up in the Gulf countries, Egypt, Indonesia and Malaysia.
The new hypermarket, which has opened in DIP1 with an area of 95,000, focuses on electronics as well as groceries and fresh food.
There is also a money exchange, a pharmacy, a restaurant and a bakery affiliated with the hypermarket.
Lulu Group Executive Director A Ashraf Ali, Chief Operating Officer VI Saleem, Group Director MA Salim and Regional Director James Varghese were also present on the occasion.
