Magallanes equalized on the hour against DIM in Rancagua > El Rancagüino

Not only the fans of the Academy shouted the goal on time, but also the soccer fans -rancagüinos- who attended the El Teniente stadium to support them in their challenge for the Copa Libertadores.

Magallanes, with his characteristic game, managed to score a point in the first match of phase 3 against Deportivo Independiente de Medellín.

Despite playing better than their rival, Nicolás Núñez’s pupils lacked offensive actions, and DIM took advantage of that, which opened the scoring at 69′ through Emerson Batalla, who took advantage of a lack of intelligence behind.

And, when it seemed that the victory was going to Colombia, Yorman Zapata connected a cross from the right to connect and beat the foreign goalkeeper. The 90’+5′ was running and the stadium celebrated the equality.

Next week the albiceleste team will play in Medellín, and also -in future international duels, be it Libertadores or Sudamericana- it will continue to be local in the Almarza street redoubt. (PHOTO: Hector Vargas).
