Mahmudullah is pulling Bangladesh by breaking Tamim’s record

He was a spectator in the last Asia Cup. There was doubt about getting a place in the World Cup. Mahmudullah Riyad, who got a place in the team after overcoming that doubt, is the best performer of the current World Cup so far.

Today, when Bangladesh is chasing the target of 383 runs given by South Africa at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Mahmudullah stood up once again at that difficult time. The middle-order batsman entered the field after the return of Mushfiqur Rahim as the fourth wicket for the team’s 42 runs.

Tamim’s runs in 29 innings are 718 and 741* in 21 innings. Shakib Al Hasan tops this list with 1202 runs. Mushfiqur runs 1242.
