Mamata Banerjee welcomes ISL kings

Kolkata | West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee extended a warm welcome to the ATK Mohun Bagan players who came to Bengal after winning the title in the Indian Super League. ATK Mohun Bagan won the title by defeating F Bengaluru 4-3 in the penalty shootout in the final match held at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa. Then, the football fans gave a huge welcome to the team that arrived in Bengal yesterday.

After this, the club owner’s reception was held last night. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee welcomed the players today. The Prime Minister congratulated all the stars.

Mamata said during the event that Bengal will show the way to the country and India will think tomorrow what Bengal is thinking today. They added that Bengal will conquer the world.

Along with this, Mamata also insisted on making the club a world-class team. To that end, the Bengal government has announced a relief fund of Rs. 50 lakhs.
