Man Charged With Second-Degree Murder in Dionne’s Death

A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder following the death of his mother in Laconia, New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office confirmed on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, that Christopher Garon is facing one count of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 58-year-old Linda Dionne.

Investigation Details

The investigation began on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, after police were called to a residence located at 52 Old Prescott Hill Road in Laconia just after 1:30 p.m.

Upon arriving at the home, officers discovered Linda Dionne dead inside the premises. Police also located her son, Christopher Garon, at the scene.
