Man Injured In Cork City Stabbing

Gardaí are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in Cork city earlier today. A man in his 40s was taken to Cork University Hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, according to a Garda spokesperson.

The incident took place on Clontarf Street shortly before 3:00 PM, following reports of a disturbance involving a group of individuals. Members of the Garda Armed Support Unit were called to the scene.

A 32-year-old man is currently on trial in Cork charged with assault causing serious harm to two of his brothers and possession of a knife.
