Manchester City Defends Perfect Record Against Liverpool
Manchester City enters the match as the Premier League’s only team with a perfect record under manager Enzo Maresca. Five straight wins have put the Citizens level on 15 points with Arsenal, which beat Leeds 2-1 on Saturday, October 10, 2026. A victory at Anfield would push City three clear at the top of the standings.
City’s defense has shown some vulnerability recently, having conceded three goals at home against Sunderland in their previous fixture. Liverpool coach Andoni Iraola has not lost a league match since taking over this summer, though draws have piled up for the Reds. Liverpool has drawn three of five matches to sit on nine points, heading into the international break with consecutive clean sheets against Fulham and Bournemouth.
Liverpool Lineup Slashes Key Stars Due to International Injuries
