Manuel Masalva,⁢ known for his role as Ramón Arellano Félix⁣ in the Netflix series “Narcos: Mexico,” ​is ‍recovering after a harrowing battle with a‍ severe bacterial infection that⁤ left him in a medically induced coma for weeks. ⁢The actor recently shared a hopeful update with his followers, expressing gratitude ‌for the overwhelming support he’s ‍received.

This prevented Masalva from returning to ‍his home in Mexico for an extended period, with the initial phase ‌of his⁤ treatment lasting 105 days at a dubai hospital.

In his first social⁣ media post as the ⁤onset of his illness, Masalva took to Instagram on Monday ‌evening to share his progress. The‍ post, filled with ​emotion and gratitude, offered ​a glimpse into his mindset during recovery.

“I am‍ healing. I want to profoundly thank you all for the support ‌you have given ​me and continue to give me,in‍ every ‍sense,every one of you,” ‌Masalva wrote. He acknowledged the long road ahead,⁤ stating, “This [process] ​has barely begun, ther is ⁣much more left to go, but I feel blessed, strong, reborn ⁣and well-accompanied. …God has‍ given me a ​new life.”

Masalva also expressed deep thankfulness‍ for the medical⁣ staff at the Dubai hospital, praising their dedication and‌ the city’s culture, which he described ‍as “overflowing with love and spirituality.” ⁤He extended his⁣ thanks‌ to his family,​ doctors, and all those who‌ have supported him, stating he owes them‌ his life.
