Maple Story Receives Convenience and Personality Update
Maple Story, the popular online game developed by Nexon, has recently received an update that brings improved convenience and personality enhancements. In this update, several changes have been made to enhance the player’s gaming experience.
One notable change is the regular sale of Wonderberry Wisp and Luna Crystal, also known as ‘Magnetic Pets’ in Maple Story. Previously, these items were only available for a limited time, causing equity concerns as their prices skyrocketed after the limited sale ended. With the new update, players can now purchase these pet attraction items regularly.
Along with the introduction of new pet items, the update also includes improvements to the cash shop, skills, quests, and professional skills. The character information UI has been reorganized to offer better usability. For instance, the existing character information and ability UI have been integrated, and the skills and equipment window now includes riding, pet information, and damage skins.
Moreover, the character information UI now displays additional details such as combat power, normal monster damage, cooldown reduction, and weapon proficiency. These additions allow players to conveniently compare their character’s growth levels with others. The update also brings enhancements to the guild system and professional skills. Players can now disassemble up to 10 items at a time when learning how to make tools and accessories. The guild advertising loudspeaker has been removed, and the Noblesse guild skill buff effect continues even after logging in and logging out.
Maple Story’s Dimensional Library has also introduced a new chapter titled ‘The Gardener of Sephiroth.’ This chapter delves into the hidden stories of Maple Story and follows the tale of Zern Darmore, the transcendent of life, and the previous god king, the gardener Asha. The Dimensional Library aims to cover the entire story of the Grandis continent.
To keep the players engaged, Maple Story is planning to introduce several exciting events such as Maple Fashion Week, World’s Best Punch King Season 2, I Did Nothing, and the Hangeul Day gift event.
