The line-up also released a video song from ‘Marakkar’. The lyrics of the song which starts with ‘Ilaveyil Alakalil’ are by Prabha Varma. The song is composed by Ronnie Raphael and sung by MG Sreekumar and Shreya Ghoshal. The song is sung by MG Sreekumar in a Mohanlal movie after a while. The video song is out.
Meanwhile, Marakkar continues its successful run in the release centers for the second week in a row. Marakkar, the highest grossing Malayalam film, hits theaters worldwide on the 2nd of this month. The movie has reached 626 screens in Kerala and 4100 screens globally. Producer Ashirwad Cinemas said that the film will have 16,000 screenings on its first day. But the collection figures of the film have not been released yet.
Mohanlal and Priyadarshan had said that the film was their dream project and the production cost was Rs 100 crore. Prior to its release, Ashirwad Cinemas had announced that the film had grossed Rs 100 crore through pre-release ticket reservation alone.
