The Seattle Mariners completed a comeback from a five-run deficit to defeat the Houston Astros 8-7 on April 11, 2026, at T-Mobile Park.

J.P. Crawford secured the victory in the ninth inning with a walk-off RBI single. Crawford lined a 0-2 fastball to left field to score Cole Young, ending the game after Astros reliever Bryan Abreu walked the bases loaded with one out.

The Houston Astros responded in the second inning, loading the bases via singles by Jose Altuve and Cam Smith and a walk to Joey Loperfido. Former Mariner Taylor Trammell then hit a bases-clearing double off the wall in left-center field in his first at-bat of the season, giving Houston a 3-2 lead.

Houston extended their lead further in the third inning. Yordan Alvarez opened the frame with a home run to right-center field. Later in the inning, with two outs, Carlos Correa singled and Loperfido doubled before Cam Smith hit a two-run single to center field following a 13-pitch at-bat, pushing the score to 6-2.

The Astros added another run in the fourth inning when Isaac Paredes singled to left, scoring Trammell to make it 7-2.

The Mariners began their recovery in the fifth inning. Crawford hit a single to center that scored both Canzone and Young. Following that, Cal Raleigh drove in Rivas with a sacrifice fly to left field.
