But after receiving the Golden Glove award, one thing happened from Martinez’s side, which football fans are not very happy about.
Martinez made an obscene gesture with the Golden Glove trophy as he walked back to join his teammates after accepting the award. Martinez’s outrageous response came as Qatari authorities and FIFA representatives stood on stage. There is a lot of criticism against this.

Emiliano Martinez was Argentina’s savior in the last game that went to a shootout. In the shootout, Martinez blocked Kingsley Coman’s shot and gave Argentina the upper hand. Before that, Emiliano gave Argentina life by saving Kolo Muani’s goal-tying shot with just seconds to go in extra time.
Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties. Both teams scored two goals each in normal time and three goals each in extra time and a shootout was required to find the winners.
