Mauritania.. The Financial Transparency Committee takes the legal oath Sahara Media

Today, Wednesday, members of the Committee on Financial Transparency in Public Life took the legal oath before President Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Ghazouani in the capital, Nouakchott.

The Financial Transparency Committee for Public Life was established pursuant to Law No. 2007/054 issued on September 18, 2007, and its mission is to receive statements from persons subject to the compulsory property declaration, ensure the follow-up and management of property declaration files, and prepare and publish periodic reports on the committee’s work.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Ould Sheikh Ghazouani invited the Chairman of the Committee, Sheikh Ahmed Ould Sid Ahmed, President of the Supreme Court, to take the oath, and they then invited the members of the Committee.

After the Chairman and members of the Committee were sworn in, the President announced the appointment of those concerned to their new duties.
