Max Richter Unveils ‘Sleep Circle’ and London Shows

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of his influential album, Sleep, Max Richter is releasing Sleep Circle, a new 90-minute work intended to enhance the experience of drifting off to sleep. The album, a sequel of sorts, arrives Sept. 5 via German gramophone.
A track from the upcoming suite, “Dream 11 / Moth-Like Stars (Pt. 2),” is currently available.
In addition to the album release, Richter will perform two all-night concerts at Alexandra Palace in London on Sept. 5 and 6. These performances will be his largest Sleep shows to date, reviving the format he introduced around the original album’s 2015 debut.
