Maximizing Frame Rate: Exploring the Graphics Settings in 400 fps Gaming

It can be set up to 400 fps

First of all, the terrain rendering is completely different between Ultra and Low image quality. Low is a fairly simple display and you can see that reality is decreasing. This isn’t because the images are grainy because they are Full HD, but the results are similar when comparing 4K images. The frame rate during gaming can be set up to 400 fps, so you can take advantage of the ultra-high refresh rate LCD for gaming. As for image quality, there are four types of quality presets that can be set at the same time. Here we tested two types: Ultra on the top and Low on the bottom.

If the image quality is set to low, objects will be drawn coarsely and shadows will be simple. As a result, the rendering load is noticeably lighter than on Ultra settings, making it easier to achieve high frame rates even on mid-range GPUs ©2023 Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.

In Ultra, the quality of everything, including shadows, visual effects and terrain, is at the highest level. On Low, most things are at a minimum, but object quality, which determines the density of things placed on the ground and the viewing distance, is set to Medium, and important information is adjusted to be as visible as possible. There are many render quality settings like fur, water, and reflections, so it’s fun to try them out. The frame rate was measured while riding a horse around Kiyo Vashad at night. Note that no upscaler was used in this measurement.
